LUBRICATING TOWARDS THE FUTURE

ATLANTIC MARINOL GEN 4

ATLANTIC MARINOL GEN 4 is a lubricant that does not contain zinc or chlorine and is made with base stocks of the highest quality. It has low consumption characteristics, high-temperature oxidation resistance, and thermal stability. When these basic stocks are mixed with carefully chosen and stable additives, the resulting engine oil has qualities that are harmoniously distributed over the spectrum.

PROPERTIES

ATLANTIC MARINOL GEN 4 is made with base stocks of the highest quality and with additives that have been carefully chosen. They impart superior lubricating qualities, low consumption features, high-temperature oxidation resistance, and thermal stability upon the oil. It is also appropriate for use in other high-horsepower marine diesel engines that run on distillate fuels with a sulfur concentration of up to 1.5%.

PRODUCT FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Protects silver bearings; possesses excellent degreasing capabilities even when heated to high temperatures;
  • Possesses excellent dispersing qualities; helps prevent the production of sludge;
  • Acids that are created during the combustion process are neutralized;
  • Excellent resistance to both heat and oxidation;
  • Properties that are resistant to wear and can bear a load effectively;
  • Excellent TBN retention in addition to a high TBN content;
  • Containing no zinc or chlorine;
  • Superior resistance to water and ability to separate;
  • Reduces the production of carbon deposits and varnish, so extending the life of the oil and the filter.

APPLICATIONS

ATLANTIC MARINOL GEN 4 is a marine-grade diesel fuel that has been specially developed to fulfil the prerequisites of EMD’s strongly loaded diesel engines, which are typically found in applications involving water. It is appropriate for use in other marine diesel engines that have a greater brake mean effective pressure (BMEP) and can use distillate fuels with a sulfur content of up to 1.5%. The engine must have the greatest horsepower. Also, it can lubricate engines of the kind used in drilling rigs and in the service of stationary power generation.

RECOMMENDATIONS

The quality standards of the engines built by Alco, Detroit Diesel (API CF-2), and Fairbanks Morse are satisfied or exceeded by this product.

ATLANTIC MARINOL GEN 4 satisfies the criteria for an SAE 40 grade marine diesel engine oil, is appropriate for use wherever API CF and/or CF-2 performance is required and is rated as an LMOA Generation 4 lubricant. These requirements allow it to be used wherever API CF and/or CF-2 performance is specified.
