ATLANTIC SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC OILS

ATLANTIC SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC OILS are engineered to provide excellent wear protection for high-pressure vane, piston, and gear pumps in a wide range of temperatures. This helps to extend the life of machine components and makes ATLANTIC SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC OILS ideal for use in a variety of applications. In addition to this, they contribute to the hydraulic system’s endurance, cleanliness, and efficiency.

APPLICATIONS

ATLANTIC SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC OILS are appropriate for the following applications:

  • Devices that typically have a very cold start-up temperature and extremely high operating temperatures
  • Where it is impossible to avoid contact with trace amounts of water
  • In mechanical systems that consist of gears and bearings
  • Hydraulic systems that are prone to deposit build-up, such as complex Numerically Controlled (NC) machines, particularly in situations where close clearance servo-valves are utilized
  • Systems employing multi-metal component designs are also susceptible to deposit build-up.
  • Mobile hydraulic systems include those seen on dump trucks, motor graders, bulldozers, and forklifts, among other examples.
  • Three types of high-pressure pumps: vane, piston, and gear
  • Those systems require a high degree of load-carrying capability and anti-wear protection.
  • Uses where the protection provided by a thin oil film against corrosion is advantageous, such as in systems that contain moisture

PROPERTIES

ATLANTIC SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC OILS have exceptional performance at both low and high temperatures, which helps to provide an additional margin of equipment safety over and above what is possible with equivalent products based on mineral oil. The regulated demulsibility of the oils enables them to function properly in systems that are contaminated with trace amounts of water while at the same time easily separating significant quantities of water.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

  • Performance throughout a broad temperature range
  • Superior protection against corrosion and oxidation; excellent oxidation stability
  • Clean hydraulic systems
  • Outstanding Resistance to Wear
  • High Value for the Viscosity Index
  • Prevents the valve from becoming stuck.
  • Serves as a barrier against rust and corrosion
  • Handles a Broad Variety of Equipment Needs
  • Excellent compatibility with a variety of metals
  • Outstanding Capabilities in the Area of Air Separation
  • Demulsibility That Can Be Regulated
  • Contributes to the reduction of system deposits and the risk of sludging
  • Longer service life with reduced expenditures for equipment maintenance
  • Reduces wear at temperatures below normal operating thresholds
