ATLANTIC HYDRAULIC OILS HVI

ATLANTIC HYDRAULIC OIL’s HVI series are high-performance, anti-wear hydraulic oils that have been designed expressly to fulfil the requirements of contemporary, high-pressure hydraulic systems found in industrial and mobile equipment. Maintaining optimal hydraulic efficiency and component safety at both low and high temperatures is made possible by the shear-stable, high viscosity index of the fluid. This allows the fluid to operate over a wide temperature range.

APPLICATIONS

ATLANTIC HYDRAULIC OIL products of the HVI range come highly recommended for use in all types of hydraulic systems, including those that run at high temperatures and under high pressure (up to the limit specified by the pump manufacturer). Particularly well-suited for use in hydraulic systems that must function despite significant shifts in temperature as well as in machinery that must be operated in the open air: easy start-up at low temperatures; continuous operation throughout the year; civil engineering; machine tools; agriculture; marine; and transportation; and other industrial applications.

PROPERTIES

ATLANTIC HYDRAULIC OIL HVI offers exceptional hydraulic system efficiency, exceptional performance in terms of keeping the fluid clean, and a high level of fluid durability. It is possible for the hydraulic efficiency feature to result in decreased energy consumption for both stationary and mobile equipment, which in turn can lower operating costs and boost overall productivity. Because of their superior oxidation and thermal stability, they can help to prolong the intervals between oil and filter changes, thereby contributing to the maintenance of clean systems. Their high level of anti-wear capabilities and outstanding film strength characteristics result in a high degree of equipment protection, which not only results in fewer breakdowns but also helps enhance production capacity. This is because fewer breakdowns mean less downtime for the equipment.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Very high value for the viscosity index
  • Superior defense against the formation of rust and corrosion.
  • Excellent anti-foaming and air-release qualities are achieved by employing components without silicon
  • The extremely low point at which the liquid can be poured; good demulsibility, which ensures rapid water separation
  • Outstanding filterability despite the presence of water in the environment
  • The high degree of operational dependability
  • Sufficient shear stability
  • Excellent thermal stability, preventing the production of sludge even when heated to high levels.
  • Extremely high resistance to oxidation ensures the fluid will have a long life in service. Strong resistance to wear, which ensures the longest possible life for the equipment.
  • Outstanding hydrolytic stability, which helps to prevent filter blockage
